TSR- http://www.tsrinc.com
This is TSR's official site. Not exactly a cornucopia, but it is a useful resource for
inside information. Nonetheless, there are better sites which seem to get the information
pretty quickly.
The AD&D Top 100- http://kingofchaos.5th.net/test/topsites.html
Pithy page. I (will) have most of the good stuff linked here, but this is definitely worth
a trip.
Effie Rover's Page- http://www.effierover.com/
Hey, name's weird, but site's pretty good. The concordance here is very useful, even if
the overall content is a little bare.
The Trap Page- http://www2.aros.net/~jseeley/ (GM)
This page is the reason that I do not bang my head for trap ideas anymore. I even have all
the pages in my hard drive just in case the page leaves our lives. If you are a GM, you
owe it to yourself to visit this site. If you are a player, you owe it to your own playing
experience to stay away: no one likes a party-pooper.
Unearthed Arcania- http://www.the-desk.com/arcania/
Download the netbook, because it is worth it. This is certainly not the only site
which has it, but it is the source.
Archives of the Aldarean- http://come.to/aldarean
Excellent, elegant, thorough page. Vast resources and entertaining layout.
NetRPG- http://www.netrpg.com/
This elegant page has a trove of information. I find it useful primarily because of its
cool (and rather extensive) list of programs. Makes everyone's life easier, that's for
sure. Worth a visit.
g R I M S P E A R- http://home.inreach.com/lazaro/grimspear/
This man put a lot of effort into this site, and it shows. Very elegant and to the point.
Thistledown Hall- http://www.thistledownhall.com/
Another beautiful page. One of the very few pages that uses frames well. A work of art. The
DM's Netbook- http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Realm/5037/netbook/welcome.html
Thoughtful and interesting page in a similar vein to the Unearthed
Arcania. Useful ideas for any DM, worth the hours of perusal.
The following links lead to online
stores which carry RPGs. I buy everything I use in gaming locally, and I
will not vouch for any online vendor except Amazon,
who are so insanely good and so insanely fast that I could not mention
online commerce without them. Please use the same precautions as always
when shopping online, and do not buy from a merchant who does not have any
sort of SSL or encrypted setup. If I have any reference, most likely
gleaned from the mailing list or online forum, I will list it here. Again,
I personally have no experience with these vendors Dragon's
Trove- http://www.dragonstrove.com
"No, I don't work for them, they just helped me complete my TSR
collection over the past few years and are fair, dependable, and well
stocked." -Jeff, Dungeon Master
And lest we forget, going directly to the source,
particularly with TSR and White Wolf, is an effective way to get books.
